REVIEWS
  • Located in the centre of the Jao Concession, Kwetsani Camp is situated on an elongated island covered with palm, mangosteen and fig trees. The surrounding floodplains are home to a number of “Delta specials” – species that are found in few other places on Earth. Some of these may even be seen from the privacy of one of our five “tree-house” chalets, beautifully furnished en-suite units made of thatch, wood, glass and canvas.  The raised dining room, lounge and bar area, from where sweeping vistas of the surrounding floodplains stretch to the horizon, often catches the gentle breeze blowing across the waving reeds. A walkway leads to a plunge pool with loungers for those seeking cooler refuge.
  • Here are a few special highlights found in Okavango Delta that we've picked out:-
    • The variety of flora and fauna means excellent game viewing year round
    • With such a profusion of life, predators in the form of lion, leopard, cheetah, hyaena and wild dog abound
    • Fishing - on a catch and release basis only, however, is prohibited by Botswana law in January and February due to breeding purposes. They offer spinner rods and a small range of lures. Fly fishing equipment to be supplied by guest if required.
    • Mokoro excursions offer an authentic and unobtrusive insight into this incredible wetland paradise
    • Flights between the camps showcase this truly unique and pristine ecosystem
