  • Bomani is situated on a 5,000 acre private reserve in the Ngamo Forest Area.  It lies on the edge of Hwange National Park where it has easy access into the park.  Bomani boasts a stone walled Family Suite under thatch plus nine spacious tents, five of which are perched on Zambezi Teak decks above the bush floor ensuring awesome views across the surrounding grasslands of Hwange National Park. The other four tents are situated at ground level where nature's beauty is close at hand.  Each tent has an en suite bathroom, hot water and electricity by generator. The main lodge area is a raised platform that overlooks the picturesque Bomani Pan and houses the central open plan dining and bar area.  Every tent is comfortably furnished and designed to keep out all creatures great and small.
  • Here are a few special highlights found in Hwange that we've picked out :-

    • Zimbabwe's biggest National Park is home to big game including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and the rare wild dog
    • Numerous waterholes in the form of open pans attract diverse species of wildlife in large numbers – a great place to be at sunset
    • Bird enthusiasts should look out for iconic species like Crowned Cranes and Secretary Birds that are often seen in Hwange
    • Private concessions and well managed public park areas mean animal sightings are not over crowded
    • Elephants can come very close to camps or lodges and sometimes can even drink from the swimming pools

David and Marg Taylor from Brisbane, Australia
If you are looking for a remote wilderness experience without the crowds of safari vehicles, excellent accommodation, superb food, wonderful staff, fantastic guides then we couldn’t recommend Bomani Lodge highly enough.

    Gaye F from Brisbane, Australia
    Luxury tents among the elephants.

Luuk Krose and Annet Hardeman from Holland
I'II recommend this camp to everyone who is looking for the real African.

Kennedy from New Plymouth, New Zealand
This camp typified what we went on safari for.  Especially greatful for the extra care they gave our two boys (10 and 11 yrs) to ensure they were included and cared for.

    Rebecca from San Diego, California
Bomani was great. My guide, Sibs, was the best of the trip. They have their own airstrip as well. I loved this place.
