Meru Styled Tented Rooms | Okavanga Delta
Duba Plains is one of the Okavango Delta's most remote camps and is located in the furthermost reaches in a very private reserve of 38,000 hectares, north of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Duba Plains Camp has six comfortbale Meru-style tented rooms, raised on wooden decks with private balconies for good views over the floodplains. The interiors are stylish and are well lit at night. The thatch-roofed lounge, dining room and bar areas are raised on platforms along with a swimming pool, all providing a beautiful view. It is built on an island shaded by large ebony, fig and mangosteen trees and surrounded by expansive plains which are seasonally flooded - usually from about May to early October each year, depending on the rains. Since Duba has access to large islands, floodplains and marshes, the camp offers a diversity of experiences. Duba's real treat is its exclusivity and it is particularly suited to those who want to be in a truly remote reserve. Guests here receive a highly personalised experience. Complimentary laundry services are provided.

Evan from Atlanta, GeorgiaOne of the Okavangos hidden gems. Our three night stay at Duba Plains was wonderful. The staff was extraordinarily kind and welcoming and Pierre's food was delicious. Gracie B from St. John's, Canada Breathtaking!! Tents were large and luxurious with indoor and outdoor showers, double vanities and very comfortable king bed. Imagine lying in bed at night, listening to the elephants and hippos walking next to your tent, hearing lions roar nearby, with the musical "tinkling" of frogs in the background. Monique from London, United Kingdom Experiences Galore at Delicious Duba. The tents were spacious and well appointed- great to have electricity inside. John P from Abcoude, Utrecht, NetherlandsI really didn’t want to leave. Duba is the bomb, it’s stunning and we absolutely loved it. The Camp is beautiful. Not far from the airstrip and the view from camp is breathtaking. Gracie B from St. John's, Canada Staff were very attentive and pleasant . Food was very good. Our guides were knowledgeable and eager to have us see as much as possible and they succeed! It was a trip of a lifetime . If you are thinking of visiting this camp, please give yourself this amazing gift.
