Livingstone

It's in the name
This town is named after David Livingstone, the intrepid African Explorer who came to Africa as a missionary from Scotland in the 1841.  He traversed much of the African continent in search of a reason to convince the world of the need to ban African slavery.  His quest was to find the source of the Nile and paddle the Zambezi in the hope that these waterways would be the key to alternative routes of trade.  In 1855 on his Zambezi expedition Livingstone became famous as the first European to discover and document the mighty Victoria Falls, which he named after his Queen.
