Zimbabwe is a phenomenally beautiful country and visiting this land can only help its inhabitants who are striving to regain their true image. The people of Zimbabwe are warm, friendly and well educated. The country's infrastructure is still very much intact - especially in the Victoria Falls area. Zimbabwe recently siwtched to the United States Dollar as its base currency. The South African Rand (ZAR) is also widely used. This has resulted in negative inflation and travellers are once again able to use credit cards at all major hotels.
